Monarch Private Capital (MPC) is proud to have the opportunity to underwrite the construction of a new home for a deserving family in partnership with Habitat for Humanity Charlotte.  The home will be located in west Charlotte’s Reid Park community and construction is scheduled to begin on February 9.  The home is expected to be completed in April.

As a Habitat Charlotte sponsor at the Master Builder level, MPC is donating over $75,000 to ensure that another Charlotte family will realize the strength, stability, and self-reliance associated with homeownership. “In a very tangible way, our friends at MPC are providing a solid opportunity for a low-income family to escape the cycle of generational poverty. Homeownership can do that,” said Habitat Charlotte President and CEO Laura Belcher.

“It’s very exciting to be a part of such a worthwhile project. Habitat works to not only create homes but advocates for affordable housing, which is an industry our company is truly passionate about,” says George Strobel, MPC’s Co-CEO and Managing Director of Tax Credit Investments. “Monarch is honored to continue our tradition of community-minded service and play a role in providing a safe, secure home for generations to come.”
