Kalpana Sahajwani is Manager, Asset Management at Monarch Private Capital. Kalpana has over 15 years of finance experience working on gas, power and biofuel assets. At Monarch, Kalpana will be responsible for managing a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
Prior to joining Monarch, Kalpana most recently served as the lead consultant for a startup financial consulting firm. Before that, she was the Director of Finance at Arbor Renewable Gas in Houston, Texas. She has been a key participant in transactions, including asset optimization, refinancing and greenfield projects. Kalpana worked on the Finance team at Total Gas & Power on the Cameron LNG project and led the financial planning process. Additionally, she served as a manager for ENGIE North America in the Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory team, where she performed valuation and due diligence for gas, power and retail assets. Kalpana has also worked in private equity on valuation and optimizing financing for renewable power acquisitions and development opportunities in US and international markets.
Kalpana earned an MBA from the Jones Business School at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and an MS in civil engineering from the University of Houston.
