Sandy Hernandez Trigueros is a Senior Associate, Renewable Energy at Monarch Private Capital. In this role, Sandy assists the renewable energy team with developmental details and closing of new project acquisitions.
Sandy began her career in the financial sector, working for Goldman Sachs, where she gained comprehensive knowledge of Global Markets. She held positions as a Senior Analyst on the Margin Lending Team, as a part of the Global Markets Division, and as a Controller where she reconciled and consolidated P&Ls for FICC products. However, it was her deep interest in clean energy solutions that led her to transition into the renewable energy industry. She made the transition by taking on the Renewable Energy Underwriter role at Celtic Bank.
Sandy’s expertise lies primarily in the solar sector, where she has actively participated in assessing and managing risks associated with solar energy and market capacity projects. She has worked closely with developers, evaluating project viability, and conducting due diligence across projects predominantly on the West Coast and in the Northeast. Sandy earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University and has held various internships in Audit and Finance at PWC, CohnReznick, and Goldman Sachs.
