This project has a capacity of 15 MW with a projected abatement of 485,000 MT CO2e over its expected 40-year operating life.
Established in 2020, Firwood Solar Farm generates clean power for Clackamas County and the surrounding areas of Sandy, Oregon. With 15.2 MWdc of renewable energy, the expansive solar farm helps lower utility costs while also reducing the number of harmful pollutants released into the atmosphere through traditional energy sources. By utilizing the Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC), the community now has a viable and virtually everlasting alternative to our rapidly depleting fossil fuels.
