Established in 2017, Lafayette Solar Farm generates clean power for Cleveland County and surrounding areas in Shelby, North Carolina. With 2.25MWdc of renewable energy, the solar installation positively impacts the local economy, environment and the health of Shelby residents by lowering energy costs and reducing the negative effects of greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to the solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC), Lafayette Solar Farm is now a significant clean energy source for the community, paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future.
