Senior Associate, Renewable Energy
Henri Rizack

Henri Rizack is a Senior Associate, Renewable Energy at Monarch Private Capital. He is responsible for due diligence, tax equity structuring and sourcing project sponsors.

Henri’s energy sector journey began with an internship at Citigroup Markets during his senior year at Tulane University. Working on the crude oil trading desk, Henri assisted traders in market research and modeling geographic arbitrage opportunities. Impressed with his performance, Citigroup offered him a full-time analyst position where he gained diverse experience in energy commodities sales and trading.

After Citigroup, Henri joined DTE Energy Trading, the trading arm of Michigan’s largest utility. As a structured originator for their environmental commodities group, he executed trades, structured deals, and managed portfolio risk parameters. His transactions included various markets such as CA LCFS, RECS, RGGI, RINs, Power, and Carbon Offsets.

Driven by a desire to focus on hard assets, Henri moved to Onyx Renewable Partners, a developer of clean energy ecosystems. As part of their business and project development team, he managed acquisitions, performed due diligence, nurtured client relationships, and oversaw project financial modeling. His projects spanned distributed generation, community solar, EV chargers, and BESS solutions.

Henri graduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics, where he also ran a tutoring service and helped managed a portion of the university endowment as part of the Darwin Fenner Fund.
