Mike Powley is the Manager, Technology Innovation at Monarch Private Capital, where he leads the company’s data transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making. He specializes in data governance, business intelligence, and process automation, helping Monarch leverage its data assets to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Monarch, Mike spent seven years at Midwest Housing Equity Group (MHEG), where he developed automation frameworks, predictive analytics models, and AI-driven solutions for asset management and underwriting. His work focused on streamlining processes, improving reporting accuracy, and integrating advanced analytics to support investment decisions.

Before transitioning into the tax credit investment industry, Mike worked at Lowe’s, where he played a key role in developing state-of-the-art selling and fulfillment platforms. Leading these initiatives, he helped design and implement innovative systems that reshaped retail selling and fulfillment strategies nationwide. His expertise in data analytics, automation, and process optimization enabled Lowe’s to enhance inventory management and drive operational efficiency.

At Monarch, Mike continues to apply his expertise in analytics, automation, and AI to build scalable data solutions and optimize business processes. His work supports the firm’s mission of managing investments in affordable housing, renewable energy, and historic rehabilitation projects while driving operational excellence through technology.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
