Peyton Jenkins is an Associate, Strategic Projects & Initiatives of Monarch Strategic Ventures at Monarch Private Capital. In this role, Peyton aids in the development of Monarch’s programs to provide support to government programs such as Solar For All (SFA), National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF), Clean Communities Investments Accelerator (CCIA), and Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF).
Prior to joining Monarch, Peyton co-founded SolarEquity, a student-run nonprofit dedicated to advancing equitable access to solar energy within communities in North Carolina. In 2023, under her leadership alongside the founding team, SolarEquity successfully raised $100,000 to fund its breakthrough project: installing solar panels on Chapel Hill’s latest affordable multi-unit housing complex.
Peyton recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Environmental Studies with a focus in Sustainability and a BA in Public Policy and did Field Ecology Coursework at the University of Montana.
